Vitamin B3

Vitamin B3 has been shown to have protective effects against damage caused by UV radiation, supports immune cells and reduces the rate of new premalignant actinic keratosis. Improves cell activity and function, reduces TEWL (dehydration) thus enhancing skin barrier function, increases hydration, and reduces pigmentation.

Recently, a ground breaking study out of the UK showed promise vitamin B3 may prevent non-melanoma skin cancers in high risk patients.

Sun damage being a major cause of premature lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation, it makes sense to be using B3 both topically and ingesting.

Vitamin B3 is found in many foods….Yeast, meat, fish, milk, eggs, green vegetables, beans and cereal grains, also in complex B supplements.

Vitamin B3 comes as a serum and is a must for every bathroom. It is a must for ALL skins. Apply in the morning after cleansing /toning.  A few drops gently pressed into the skin followed by your prescribed moisturizer.

There are many therapeutic uses for B3, too many to list but Arthritis, High Cholesterol and poor memory are just a few of the conditions where B3 is a benefit taken as a supplement.
